The prestigious Malabar Metro Food Awards ceremony took place at GRT Hotel and Resort, Wayanad, inaugurated by renowned culinary expert Dr. Lakshmi Nair. Advocating for the diverse flavors of Malabar, she urged the Department of Tourism to promote the region’s cuisine locally and internationally. Organized by Metro Mart in collaboration with Wayanad District Tourism Promotion Council and Kerala Tourism Development Association, the event showcased selected restaurants from Wayanad, Kannur, and Kasaragod districts, all within the elegant setting of GRT Hotel and Resort. Mr. KK Radhakrishnan, State President of The Kerala Classifieds Hotels and Resorts Association, presided over the ceremony, joined by distinguished figures like Mr. Ajesh, DTPC Secretary, Mr. Mathew Thomas from KSSAI, Mr. Anoop Palukun of WTO, and Mr. Naveen Mohan.
